This is gathered via Google Analytics and advertising tools from Meta and LinkedIn. See our [Cookie Policy] for the full detail, including how to control these.

How we use your data, and our lawful basis

Under UK data protection law, we must have a valid lawful basis for using your personal data. We rely on the following:

  • To respond to your enquiries — on the basis of our legitimate interests (running and growing our business and replying to people who contact us), or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

  • To review and manage applications to our creative network or team — on the basis of our legitimate interests in finding and working with the right people, and to take steps before entering into a working relationship.

  • To run analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn) — on the basis of your consent, which you give through our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

  • To provide our services and manage our client, supplier, and partner relationships — on the basis of performing a contract with you, or our legitimate interests in managing those relationships.

  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations — for example, keeping accounting and tax records — on the basis of compliance with a legal obligation.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether those interests are overridden by your rights, and we balance them carefully.

When we act on behalf of our clients

When we deliver services for a client, we sometimes process personal data on that client's behalf — for example, audience or campaign data. In those cases the client is the data controller and we act as their data processor, under a separate agreement that governs how the data is handled. This Privacy Policy covers the data for which Altogether Now is the controller, as described above.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics (GA4) and advertising tools from Meta and LinkedIn. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent. For the full list of cookies, what they do, and how to manage your preferences, please see our Cookie Policy.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary, with:

  • Service providers who help us run our business and website, acting on our instructions — for example, our website host (Framer), analytics provider (Google), advertising platforms (Meta and LinkedIn), and our email and file-storage provider [e.g. Google Workspace — confirm].

  • Professional advisers, such as our accountants and legal advisers, where needed.

  • Authorities or third parties where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.

We put appropriate contracts in place with our providers to keep your data protected.

International data transfers

Some of our providers — including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Framer — are based outside the UK, which means your data may be transferred internationally. Where it is, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses), or transfers to countries the UK has deemed to provide adequate protection. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;

  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;

  • ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances;

  • ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data;

  • request a copy of certain data in a portable format;

  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent (such as for cookies); and

  • complain to the regulator (see below).

To exercise any of these, email us at howdy@altogethernow.studio. We will respond within one month. There's usually no charge, and we may need to verify your identity first.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):

  • Website: ico.org.uk

  • Helpline: 0303 123 1113
